The Automatic Precision Sandblasting Machine was developed to address two fundamental needs in the customer’s production process: reducing the need for skilled operators and increasing the consistency of process outputs. The sandblasting operation, previously carried out with multiple personnel, has become manageable by a single operator thanks to this system designed by Altay Process.

The machine is developed to perform precision sandblasting with aluminum oxide, and thanks to its simultaneous 3-axis operation capability, it offers a more controlled and repeatable surface treatment performance. In the system, which has a total capacity of 12 parts, the operator can seamlessly continue the process by simply removing the two completed parts at the station located at the rear of the machine and replacing them with two new ones. This structure minimizes operator intervention while making the workflow more organized and sustainable.

Our goal in this project was not only to reduce the manual workload but also to deliver a solution that provides more consistent results, adapts to the production pace, and operates reliably under field conditions. Ultimately, this system has delivered a strong advantage in terms of workforce optimization, process standardization, and operational efficiency.
